Elizabeth Higley, Program Manager
Elizabeth Higley is the founder of Great Life Mentoring; the original 4Results mentoring model, and a Promising Practice that enriches the lives of children in the mental healthcare system.
I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned in my career of over 20 years in mental health, 7 years in education and over 25 years as a volunteer serving children and women in faith-based ministries. I believe that we are relational beings and if a child is empowered to believe that their life matters, that they are treasured and cared for unconditionally, they will blossom. Witnessing this is the joy in my work at Great Life Mentoring. Here I am, pictured with my mother, Mary Carlisle; the first person to show me unconditional love. My favorite pastimes are writing, quality time in long-term relationships, and experiencing nature and traveling with my husband, Warren Higley. We live following my grandmother’s advice when she told us, “Enjoy your great life!” I hope you will too.
Cindy Fritz, Program Coordinator
Cindy Fritz has been both a volunteer mentor and staff at Great Life Mentoring since 2005. She loves to train, match and support the mentors and kids. Cindy adores her husband, nephews, nieces and 5 doxies! She enjoys volunteering at her church, cooking, making jewelry, attending Broadway plays, and walking 5K’s that benefit our community.
Rachel Burch, Program Assistant
Rachel Burch has been serving children in various roles for the past 20 years. Her abilities for relational connectedness, empathy and presence make her a valuable Great Life Mentor; she is one of our volunteers! It is with passion to care for the kids in her own hometown that she is motivated to contribute her administrative skills and work behind-the-scenes providing program support. Rachel loves spending time with her husband and two children; she loves hiking, discovering new places and children’s books.
