What is a Mentor?
Guidance — Support — Stability — Friendship
A mentor is someone who consistently spends time with a child facing adversity. It’s that easy. Plus, we’ll coach you along the way - and give you lots of (great) ideas for free activities you can do..
What It Takes
Commitment
Children facing adversity need stability, mentors should be ready to commit 2-3 hours a week for at least a year.
Patience
These children come from challenging backgrounds and need your understanding.
Empathy
Connect with your friend and learn to see the world from their perspective.
Love
Building new relationships is worth the reward.
